- 62% of the 1,100 professionals interviewed stated that they shortchanged security for the sake of efficiency.
- 52% reported that implementing better security represented an inconvenience.
As a result of this mindset, these companies endured a disproportionately high number of cyber attacks.
- 66% of organizations reporting noted that a cyber incident resulted in a significant organizational calamity.
- 1 in 5 of the attacks occurred because employees connected to public wi-fi, either at cafes or elsewhere.
Organizations that choose not to implement mobile security risk the loss of intellectual property, monetary resources, and may experience customer backlash, and/or legal repercussions. Protecting mobile devices is no longer an option, it’s imperative.
