EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
A Russian cyber-criminal gang used Android malware to steal about $892,000 from Russian banking customers. Before being arrested, the group responsible for the attack was believed to have gotten malware intended to target bank customers in France and other western countries. Authorities have arrested 16 people including the group’s leader. It is believed the gang operated for nearly a year before their arrest.
